The Medical Billing Specialist reviews and verifies pending claims with insurance companies, reviews medical EOBs, and insurance denials. The MBS ensures medical record accuracy for proper claim reimbursement, along with processing changes in the Practice Management system to support accurate and efficient billing processes and financial closing. The MBS will have an expectation to appeal to the insurance for reimbursement on behalf of the provider if needed.
