The Medical Billing Supervisor, under the general supervision of the Business Operations Manager, performs personnel and administrative functions for the medical billing department, for the purpose of ensuring accurate and timely patient medical billing and reimbursement.

QUALIFICATIONS: Required: Four years’ insurance experience in a medical billing office including customer service; knowledge of medical billing procedures including claim denials and appeals; medical terminology, PC/typing experience and working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases; 10-key calculator and telephone experience; ability to plan, organize, prioritize and direct the work of others; excellent problem-solving, organization, planning, and prioritization skills; clear and effective written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of clinic policies and procedures related to infection control, environmental safety, and patient confidentiality; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, staff, patients, service providers, and general public; ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; and ability to maintain patient confidentiality Preferred: One year supervisory or leadership experience. Graduate of a coding program or CPC or CCS-P certification. Experience with Microsoft Office including intermediate skills in Excel. Prior Epic experience including use of reports and dashboards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $61,755.00 - $70,000.00 per year
