Location: Bergey’s Corporate Office- Souderton, PA

Shift: Full Time

Summary:

Under the supervision of the Safety Director, duties will entail managing all insurance claims related to company’s property and casualty insurance program (worker’s compensation, auto liability, property, general liability, etc.) as well as leading and organizing efforts to ensure company’s safety programs and processes are up to date, functioning efficiently, and compliant.

Essential Duties:

• Creates and manages processes by which all claims are reported in a timely manner
• Compassionately and aggressively manage all claims to closure while minimizing financial exposure
• Collaborates with claims personnel at insurance companies to ensure good communication to allow claims closures
• Works with applicable managers across the company to ensure timely communication on claims related matters in their jurisdiction
• Participates in settlement of Auto and Worker’s Compensation lawsuits
• Works outside service providers, such as medical clinics or repair shops, to ensure claims move toward closure
• Helps to steer treatment plans for claims and manages negotiations and settlements
• Assists with ensuring Incident investigation and root cause analysis is completed on each claim
• Manages company’s online safety management system to ensure timely execution of safety plans and assignments
• Helps produce safety statistical reports as well as OSHA Logs
• Assists with scheduling and preparing for safety events, trainings, and meetings
• Assists with safety efforts related to new hire onboarding processes
• Participates in company safety committee meetings

Education and/or Experience:

• 5 years of experience related to claims management, preferably in an industrial environment (or for industrial customers)
• College degree in related field
• Desire to advance claims and safety knowledge

• Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screening
