JOB SUMMARY: The Clinincal Laboratory Technician/Medical Laboratory Technician independently performs routine and special diagnositc procedures on blood and other body fluids from patients of all age groups served by SPH. The position routinely performs waived, moderate and high complexity tesing (with an Associates degree).

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: One-year experience as a generalist clinical laboratory technician in a hospital setting preferred.

EDUCATION: Montana State Licensure as CLT required. National Licensure as Medical Laboratory Technician required. Associate degree Medical Technology or equivalent preferred.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY: Licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technicianin Montana.
