Job Summary:
A Medical Device Repair Technician will be responsible for all the laser maintenance, safety, and team communication that ultimately supports all clinic operations. Continuous assessments and improvements allow our team to remain efficient and effective at LaserAway.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Oversee all laser maintenance within the assigned region. This role oversees the PNW, Las Vegas, Mountain West and CO clinics.
Monitor ticket system, communication platforms, and emails for prompt responses
Ticket response critical to operational readiness
Ability to exceed expectations and aid in improving overall operations
Efficiently assess and apply critical thinking to multiple issues
Contribute to the support system and demeanor for our clinic teams
Professionally address non-work related topics with the team
Prepare Weekly Reports to discuss overall equipment status and needed updates
Contribute to a high morale and stress-free environment
Ensure availability for the team to communicate during all operating hours
Communicate any support needed in advance and professionally
Escalate any issues or concerns through the proper leadership channels
Coordinate with the medical team to assist in additional equipment training
Maintain company vehicle in good standing and maintenance
Maintain a valid form of identification and clean driving record throughout employment
Travel 80-90%
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Maintain a minimum of 100 total medical devices spanning a minimum of 8 locations

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
Ability to work before, during, and after business hours, including weekends

Ability to organize work vehicle, tools, and parts inventory
Ability to maneuver or climb an 8ft ladder
Ability to stand for periods exceeding up to 4 hours
Ability to drive up to 8 hours per day
Ability to roll or carry tool bag to and from each clinic
Ability to transport equipment up to 250lbs from location to location
Ability to load and unload equipment in a company vehicle with a ramp inclined at 25 degrees
Flexible to travel to local regions or out-of-state locations
Support other Laser Engineers during time off, emergencies, or as requested by management
Ability to travel out of the region for up to 5 days at a time
Must be able to lift 50 pounds for short periods of time
Minimum Qualifications:
