Being a Medical Director ensures all clinical programs are in compliance with all applicable regulations. Researches and studies current medical publications and data on new treatments and practices to ensure high quality clinical service offerings. Additionally, Medical Director advises non medical management on clinical and patient related matters and policies. Requires a MD degree. Typically reports to top management. The Medical Director manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. To be a Medical Director typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience.     Arlington South Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Managing Veterinarian/Medical Director:  

    We are looking for a dedicated Veterinarian with some Management experience to join our highly skilled team. The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion to be constantly learning and easy to work with. Someone who is a strong leader, good with clients, dedicated to the community, confident, hardworking, an effective communicator and collaborates with our team members to provide the highest quality care to our patients. This Medical Director position is unique in that the veterinarian would still be able to manage their own medical caseload and would partner with a Hospital Manager to run the team and manage the hospital.  

    • $30,000 Sign-on Bonus and retention bonuses upon contract commitment 
    • Buy-in/Ownership potential (available after 1 year)
