This is a part-time position. - non-scheduled - treatment appointments will be offered based upon an as-needed basis.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a qualified Esthetician to join our team at our new unique spa in Dawn Ranch! As the Esthetician at Dawn Ranch, you will be responsible for providing professional facials, waxes, and body scrubs to our guest. Using your in-depth knowledge of skincare, including exceptional facial massage and skin extraction techniques, you will work with guests to assess their skin needs and develop customized treatment plans to help them improve their skin health and appearance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Provide high-quality skincare services to guests, including but not limited to; facials, waxes, chemical peels, and microdermabrasion treatments.
•  Assess guest’s skin needs and develop customized treatment plans.

• Perform prep work, properly clean and restock room as required.

• Educate clients about the benefits of skincare treatments while providing guidance on self-care, skincare, and maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and professional work environment, including treatment rooms and equipment.
• Maintain Spa’s equipment, providing cleaning and maintenance when necessary.
• Able to use repetitive hand and body motions such as grasping, writing, typing, listening, hearing, and visual acuity.
• Able to walk, including climbing stairs, standing to a significant degree, kneeling, reaching, bending, handling machinery, lifting, feeling, talking, hearing, and see.
• Able to stand for long periods of time or for the duration of a shift.

Pay rate: $16 plus commission.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE

• Strong knowledge of skin anatomy and skincare techniques
• Always maintain client confidentiality and professionalism.
• Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures.
• Use the proper amount of product per guest to assist with cost controls.
• Keep up to date with industry trends and developments in massage therapy techniques and products.
• Attend training and development sessions as required by the hotel
• Excellent communication, hospitality, listening and computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Collaborate with other departments including restaurant, kitchen and front-desk to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Assist with other spa duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Able to work under pressure or in a high-volume environment.
• Certified Esthetician certification from the Board of Barbering and Cosmetology California.

• Minimum 2 years of Massage Therapy experience.

• Minimum of 600 hours of Esthetician therapy school and a certificate of completion.

• Must adhere to all applicable local and state licensing laws and regulations related to the Esthetician services provided, including following any applicable law pertaining to maintaining current Esthetician License.
• Knowledge of and experience in performing facials and waxing required.

• Flexible schedule including; nights, weekends and holidays.
