Medical Interpreter conducts medical and general interpreting for staff, patients, and their families. Assesses and monitors patients' understanding of information conveyed. Being a Medical Interpreter advises medical personnel about any cultural issues that might impact patient care. Records and monitors interpretation activities according to hospital and department standards. Additionally, Medical Interpreter may be required to translate written documents. Requires familiarity with medical terminology. Requires fluency in one or more languages in addition to English. May require an associate degree or equivalent. May require Translation certificate. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Medical Interpreter works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. 5-Star Springfield Family Physicians is looking for an energetic and hardworking MA/CNA to join our growing, busy family practice office. Interest in learning how to scribe is preferred.
We are looking for someone to join our team with a passion to providing outstanding care to our patients. Must have experience with vitals, administering injections, assisting with minor procedures.
EMR experience is ideal but not necessary. Must be a team player, punctual, able to work well with others, and be patient-centered.
This is a full-time position. Hours are Monday-Friday with occasional evenings (12pm-8pm) and rotating Saturdays (9am-5pm), 40 hours a week. Will help obtain certified MA status. Outstanding benefits including medical, dental and a generous 401K/Pension Plan. Competitive wages.
