Position Summary:
Responsible for performing routine testing for urine drug screening using professional know ledge of laboratory procedures according to CLIA regulations
Independently interprets, analyzes and executes clinical testing in an accurate and timely manner
Review and transmit test results with regard to satisfactory quality control guidelines
Education: Associate’s degree in biology, chemistry or medical technology with at least 2 years of experience in a moderate complexity laboratory
License/Certification: Valid and current certification through an approved credentialing agency as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
Working Conditions: Work in a well-lit, ventilated and air-conditioned facility. Prolonged standing and sitting. Position may require reaching, handling, bending or kneeling of objects up to 50 lbs. Position requires motor coordination, manual dexterity and hand-eye-foot coordination.
