Lab Technician
OVERVIEW
RJK now taking applications for Lab Technicians at a local grain company with full time benefits

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct chemical and physical laboratory tests to assist in making qualitative and quantitative analysis of solids, liquids, and gaseous materials for purposes, such as research and development of new products or processes, quality control, maintenance of environmental standards, and other work involving experimental, theoretical, or practical application of chemistry and related sciences.
• Specifically general lab samples in a manufacturing plant with grains and corn within the quality control department
• This position may require interaction with rare earth magnets.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in a lab setting required
• Dependable and reliable

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• prefers a 2-year degree in Science or Chemical or Biology area
• or a HS diploma or GED with 2 years of experience

WORK HOURS/SHIFT

• 12 hour days - 36/48 hour work weeks with 2 weeks day/night rotations hours running 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am
• 14 rotating days off per month and every other weekend off (depending on production needs)
• Full time with benefits

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.24 per hour
