MCLAB (Molecular Cloning Laboratories), a South San Francisco-based biotech company, is a leader in DNA sequencing services and consumables. Our large capacity DNA sequencing service is well known for high quality, low cost and fast turnaround time. We are currently looking for a DNA Sequencing Laboratory Technician to process orders in our Sequencing Department.

Responsibilities:

• Work under direct supervision of team leads and lab managers
• Pipette DNA sequencing reactions and routinely operate laboratory equipment
• Edit work instruction for standard operating procedures as necessary
• Keep work area clean in terms of bench, freezers, refrigerators, and agarose gel area

Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail to troubleshoot and answer customer inquiries & questions via email or phone call
• Willingness to learn new technologies and protocols
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
