Being a Medical Librarian Assistant organizes and shelves materials and prepares new materials for circulation. May perform data entry to update library systems. Additionally, Medical Librarian Assistant may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Independent home town physician's office looking for compassionate, caring medical assistant to join our talented family of health care professionals. We are needing a Medical Assistant at North Park Family Practice (Office of William Blume MD) as nurse/phone nurse and help with front desk, as needed. The Medical Assistant will help manage the care of patients; Some of the other duties will include assisting the doctor, taking vitals, routine lab procedures and collection, giving injections/immunizations, performing waived laboratory tests, filling in for front desk. Certification or Registration is a plus! Experience using Epic EHR is preferred; knowledgeable of common insurance requirements helpful.
