Medical Librarian Assistant assists the librarian and users with the operations of a medical library. Helps with computer searches, inter-library loans, cataloging, circulation, general reference and questions about library services. Being a Medical Librarian Assistant organizes and shelves materials and prepares new materials for circulation. May perform data entry to update library systems. Additionally, Medical Librarian Assistant may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Medical Librarian Assistant works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. Job Summary:
This individual will be expected to monitor a specific group of patient’s care and support them in achieving short/long term health goals. The RPM MA will coordinate with providers to ensure patients’ needs are met. A working knowledge of the clinical field is desired for this position.

Physical Requirements:
Requires considerable physical effort most of the day including kneeling, squatting, reaching, twisting, climbing, walking, exposure to temperature and humidity changes and maximal assist in lifting and/or transferring of a 100 pound patient. Must possess sight/hearing senses or use appropriate adaptive devices that will enable senses to function at a level required to meet the essential duties of the position. Must provide evidence of annual TB test and other state-required tests or examinations.
Mental Requirements:
Must be able to work independently, make judgments based on assessments and data available, and act accordingly. Must have excellent and clear communication skills, especially for interacting with elderly patients with potential cognitive or communication difficulties.
Working Conditions:
Be able to tolerate exposure to elements including, but not limited to, odors, blood, body fluids and excrements, adverse environmental conditions and hazardous materials.
Transportation:
Must have a current valid driver’s license, auto liability insurance, and reliable transportation.
