Summary and Purpose of Position:  Provides patient care in the physician office setting, assist providers in coordinating patient care, functions as a primary liaison between patients, families, staff and providers. The above is to be performed in the best Interest of Superior Med and its patients utilizing all Guernsey Health System values.  Must have GXMO

Scope of Position:                                                   

• Maintain all exam rooms, lab, patient bathroom, and medical supply room. This includes inventory and ordering of supplies, medications, paper products, special cleaning supplies, testing supplies, etc.
• Prepare all exam rooms and assist physician.
• Accompany patient from waiting room ; obtain and note necessary information and vitals in chart.
• Assist physician in preforming office-based procedures. In addition, preform set up, take down steps determined by physician for all procedure types.
• Assist medical receptionist with necessary task when possible.
• Answer phones.
• Schedule appointments (if front staff need assistance)
• Cross train to be able to work front desk if needed
• Performs standard Radiological procedures including chest, abdomen, spine, extremities, and skull.
• Ability to operate computerized and digital radiographical equipment
• Demonstrates the care and operation of Radiography equipment according to technical specifications and applications.
• Takes responsibility for patient/personal radiation safety. Follows Radiation Safety guidelines for monitoring film badges.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
