Medical Librarian (MLS) provides guidance and assistance to users researching medical information using database searches, inter-library loans, and other resources. Ensures the cataloging and circulation of materials are performed efficiently and correctly according to policies and standards. Being a Medical Librarian (MLS) creates training materials and delivers library instruction and education programs for physicians and other staff. Leads or contributes ideas for library strategic planning, quality initiatives, and the development of digital media and educational resources. Additionally, Medical Librarian (MLS) maintains current knowledge of medical developments and scientific literature. Requires a master's degree in library science. Typically reports to a manager. Job Summary: At the direction and control of the Lab Director, the Medical Laboratory Technician will perform routine and/or complex tests in various areas of the Lab using standard techniques and equipment.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D.
MLT with an Associate degree rom an MLT program and accredited or meets the criteria to sit for accredidation or an MT/MLS with a bachelor's degree from an accredited program that is accredited or meets the criteria to sit for accredidation.
Experience: Prior experience preferred
