Description

As Medical Assistant, Pain Management, you will have the unique opportunity to travel with our Pain Management physician, providing essential support in delivering comprehensive pain management services. You will play a vital role in assisting the physician during patient consultations, procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of clinical activities. 

Responsibilities: 

• Provide front office and medical assistant support including patient care, filing, scheduling, registration, insurance verifications, and patient referrals. 
• Organizes and maintains a filing system for patient charts, including filing and pulling charts 
• Greets patients and visitors 
• Initiates a triage for response by medical personnel 
• Registers, verifies and updates patient records 
• Provides exceptional customer service, responds promptly and appropriately to customer needs 
• Maintaining office and medical supplies 
• Handles physician requests in a timely manner 
• Prepares and sanitizes rooms 

Requirements

 Knowledge and Skills: 

• Strong computer skills and knowledge of internet software, and Microsoft processing software 
• Detail oriented and organized 
• Flexible and reliable 
• Professional attitude, patience, and kindness in all interactions 

Required Qualifications: 

• Medical assistant certification 

Physical Requirements: 

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 
• Prolonged periods of periods of standing and bending. 
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
