Job Summary: Provides administrative secretarial support to the Director of Case Management. The Assistant manages the department staffing levels and schedules Case Manager RNs, Social Workers and Mental Health Evaluators. This position is responsible for tracking and entering daily Kronos, acts as an ongoing computer resource for the department, trains new employees on various department software programs, assists with daily coordination of workloads, manages department inventory, assists Director with budget tracking, complies reports, assists Director with insurance appeals, coordinates travel arrangements, arranges staff meetings, lunches and educational in-services.
Education/Licensing: High school diploma or GED.
Qualifications: Two years college course work with knowledge of medical terminology, five years work experience in the health care setting. Proficient computer skills including word processing, Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations. Competent in oral, written and electronic communication. Maintains professional demeanor and confidentiality. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced, changing environment.
