SS Medical is solely a Durable Medical Equipment (DME)/Home Medical Equipment (HME) VA contractor. SS Medical is looking for a new Assistant Manager. We are searching for someone with experience delivering and repairing Home Medical Equipment/Durable Medical Equipment and has experience with doing clerical work as well. The position is solely responsible for a 10,000 sqft warehouse inventory. We must turn in a weekly inventory report that must be audited every week. This is the main job of the assistant branch manager. You will be receiving and checking in equipment, parts, and updating work orders for the branch manager to schedule. This position will require you to do weekly deliveries to the VA hospital, warehouse upkeep, help the manager with data entry into our system and answering phone calls. · Must Be Able To Lift 100 lbs

· Must Have A Clean Driving Record

· Must Have Transportation To and From Work

· Will Run Back Ground Check Upon Hire

· Must Have Proficient Computer Skills

· Experience Delivering Home Medical Equipment/Durable Medical Equipment

· Weekly Deliveries To VA

· Audit Inventory Weekly

· Ensure All Work Orders Are Kept Current With Equipment Received

· Maintain a Well Organized Warehouse

· Keep Office Compliant With Joint Commission Standards

· Deliveries To The Veteran's Home And Setting Up The Equipment

· Educating Patients On Proper Use And Care of Equipment

· Drive a Forklift

· Unload Delivery Trucks With The Forklift

· Answer Phone Calls

· Trouble Shoot Equipment Issues Over The Phone

· Data Entry

· Order Parts For Equipment

· Warehouse Upkeep (sweeping, throwing away boxes, organizing equipment)

· Maintaining Weekly Inventory Reports

· Help Other Technicians Load Their Vans With Equipment

· Preparing Equipment For Next Day Deliveries

· Yearly TB Test and Flu Shot (or doctors note stating you are allergic to the shot)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
