As our Medical Assistant/Office Manager, you must be willing to learn about the disease of Obesity and must have experience in a medical office. You must be comfortable working independently, sensitive to the personal nature of our patient populations' specialized needs, have good listening skills, and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel. You will be responsible for scheduling, answering phones and emails, collecting payments, taking vital signs, recording patients' histories, and more. As a cash-based practice, we do not accept any insurance for payment but do accept HSA, Carecredit, credit cards, and cash. You must be comfortable requiring payment from each patient. You must pay close attention to detail and always be vigilant to prevent errors. This is all focused on giving each patient the best medical care possible.
