Job Summary: The Administrative Assistant performs a wide variety of clerical and administrative tasks in support of the Panetta Institute for Public Policy and its programs. This is a full-time position with schedule flexibility and periodic overtime based on programmatic needs. Presently, this position requires performance of job duties at the worksite and is not a remote job.

Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Required experience: Administrative support for event planning and coordination; professional phone manner; ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
Primary duties: Assist in program implementation; communicating with outside partners; responsible for organizing meetings/events; working with multiple electronic and hard copy files; drafting correspondence and other products; retrieving and compiling complex information; working cooperatively and respectfully with co-workers, partners, and the public.
Physical requirements: Repetitive movement, prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer, using telephones and electronic mail; participating in face-to-face meetings and discussions with individuals and teams, standing; walking; reaching with hands and arms; stooping or kneeling; and regularly lifting and/or moving up to 15 pounds and occasionally lifting/or moving up to 25 pounds .
Compensation: This is a non-exempt position with a salary range of $19.00 to $29.00 per hour depending on experience.
