Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team. As a Medical Biller, you will be responsible for accurately coding and billing medical procedures and services. Your role will involve working with medical records, insurance companies, and healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement. If you have a strong understanding of medical coding systems, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Job Description
Your duties would include the following:

• Review and analyze medical records to accurately assign appropriate codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services using ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding systems
• Ensure that all coding is done in compliance with relevant coding guidelines and regulations
• Verify patient insurance coverage and process claims for reimbursement
• Communicate with insurance companies to resolve any billing discrepancies or denials
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to obtain any necessary documentation or clarification for accurate billing
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
• Stay up-to-date on changes in coding guidelines and regulations

Skills
To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and diagnoses
• Proficiency in medical coding systems (ICD-10, ICD-9)
• Familiarity with medical billing software and electronic health record systems
• Attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing processes
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
