The Medical Records Specialist performs duties related to the receipt, scanning, indexing, and destruction of non-electronic health and administrative information. They assume responsibility and is accountable for adherence to WC policies and procedures, as well as all applicable federal and state laws as they pertain to healthcare and employment.
The Medical Records Specialist works 32 hours a week:
Mon/Thu/Fri 8am-5pm
Tues/Wed off
Sat/Sun 7am-11am
32 hours per week.
This position is located onsite at the Fertility Center of Oregon.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent and minimum of one year of related medical experience; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Work related experience should be within the discipline of medical records.

This job operates in a professional medical office environment. Requires the ability to work under pressure and with a diverse population including staff, physicians, patients, vendors, and other members of the public on a regular basis.
