    We are looking for a 12 week contract Medical Device Activation Specialist to join our Team to assist patients in enrolling, activating, and setting up their remote medical devices for Remote Care. This is a unique opportunity to help empower patients to take control of their health and send the data directly to their physician for monitoring. The device activator is responsible for successfully describing the service and assisting the patient in activating the remote devices. This is a non-clinical role and is intended to provide support and education. No medical advice is given to patients in this role.

    This is a 12 week contract with possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and the projects needs. We currently have 3 open headcount that will be commuting around Jamestown, NY, Buffalo, NY or Sturbridge, MA.

    Job Duties:

    • Working with Clinic Success Managers to create a weekly appointment schedule with our clinic partners and assist in enrolling and activating patients.
    • Scheduling appointments to meet with patients at their provider’s office, or in their home.
    • Attend meetings as necessary with clinics.
    • While in the patient's home, you will assist with setting up the devices (i.e. glucose meter, scale, blood pressure cuff, pulse oximeter, Fitbit)
    • Assist the patient to obtain first reading and connect the devices to their phone (if applicable) and ensure successful transmission of first reading. 
    • Document activation outcomes
    • Additional duties and responsibilities as they arise based on company and team needs.

    The ideal candidate will:  

    • Quickly become an expert in guiding others through onboarding on an app-based platform and syncing their connected devices
    • Be customer-centric in your approach by using active listening skills and maintain a confident demeanor when interacting with potential patients
    • Work with self-discipline to meet assigned performance goals
    • Strong organization and time management skills
    • Manage large caseloads using proprietary web-based tools
    • Be organized and own the responsibility for the success of the patients
    • Be a quick learner of new technologies and tools- mastering both the use of the proprietary patient management tools and ways to properly connect, sync, and troubleshoot connected devices
    • Provide continuous feedback on the onboarding process and ways to improve it
    • Work in a fast-pace, high-expectation, constantly-improving-ourselves, type of culture
    • Ability to assume responsibility and main confidentiality
    • Strong sense of accountability is required

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Valid MA or NY driver's license and reliable transportation. 
    • High School diploma or GED.
    • Excellent communication skills
    • High level of comfort with technology; ability to simplify and patiently introduce/explain new technologies to patients
    • Initial Drug Test Required - NY (Jamestown)
    • Mask Covid Vaccination required due to working inside Healthcare Clinics/Facilities along with at risk patients homes.
