Medical Assistant
Duties:
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and billing
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and treatments
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Prepare patients for X-ray procedures and assist with positioning and equipment setup
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing
- Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatments, and preventive care
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and equipment
Skills:
- Proficient in performing X-rays and operating X-ray equipment
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare providers
- Excellent attention to detail to accurately record patient information and perform tasks
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and documentation requirements
