Job Description Sompo International is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Product Analyst to support our Product Development team in our Florham Park, NJ office. As an Assistant Vice President, Product Analyst, you will provide support to our Commercial Property and Casualty underwriting teams. A key part of your responsibilities will include drafting policy forms for new and existing products. Job Responsibilities: Draft commercial property and casualty policy forms and endorsements Perform legal research in connection with product drafting Deliver product-related regulatory compliance support ensuring for adherence to regulations and standards Improve workflow efficiencies by identifying opportunities for the continual development of team processes Organize and maintain documents and libraries of approved products Provide operational support for essential department tools and processes Qualifications: 3 - 5 years of experience in insurance, policy drafting, technical writing, or copy editing Exceptional writing, attention to detail, analytical, and organizational abilities Capabilities to make decisions with limited information and see issues through to resolution Ability to effectively convey information and ideas in a clear, concise, and engaging manner Strong commitment to providing superior client service Bachelor’s degree required Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including the cost of living associated with your work location, your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.
