Wyomissing Optometric Center is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist with a minimum of 2 years experience for our Wyomissing location. Our candidate will be required to have experience in all aspects of medical billing and coding. Candidate will be required to follow-up on claim denials, resubmissions and appeals as well as accurately enter payments from a medical EOB into our system. Experience with Workman's Compensation and medical records requests preferred. Excellent customer service skills are necessary to be able to clearly and professionally assist with patient insurance questions as well as work with insurance representatives.
Hours include Monday through Thursday- 3 evenings required. No Fridays or weekends.
