    We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Medical Records Clerk. As a Medical Records Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining and organizing patient medical records in a healthcare setting.

    Duties:

    - Retrieve, file, and maintain patient medical records in accordance with established procedures and guidelines

    - Ensure the accuracy and completeness of patient information in medical records

    - Organize and maintain filing systems for easy retrieval of medical records

    - Assist healthcare professionals in locating and accessing patient records as needed

    - Scan and digitize paper documents into electronic medical record systems

    - Follow privacy regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information

    - Assist with record audits and quality assurance activities

    - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate documentation

    - Answer phone calls

    Skills:

    - Proficiency in using medical office software and electronic medical record systems, HospiceMD preferred.

    - Strong knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations

    - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

    - Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining medical records

    - Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism

    - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with healthcare professionals

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 per week
