    Under the general direction of the Manager, Health Information, or designee, processes a variety of patient records to support the department's mission to secure and maintain accurate patient health information. Tasks include: Customer service both face to face and telephone or correspondence, document capture processing, health information report routing, release of information (ROI), data abstracting and reporting to external entities, maintaining logs, and functions related to billing and collections for ROI.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Associate's Degree

    • 2 years Customer Support experience

    • 2 years working with personal desktop computers, printers

    • 1 year Health Information Management or equivalent related health care setting

    • Experience with electronic patient health systems
