The Medical Records works under the direction of the Administrator to ensure all medical records are managed in accordance with Company policy and state and federal regulations. Responsible for the completion and accuracy of medical record information kept in both written and electronic forms and is responsible for ensuring that all protected health information is safeguarded as required by Company policy and HIPAA. The Medical Records works closely with the nursing department to ensure accurate and complete medical records are kept for all residents.
