Looking for a highly energetic, self motivated and friendly Medical Scheduler/Medical Records person to join our busy Oncology and Hematology medical practice. Individual should be able to multitask in a fast pace environment. Responsibilities include schedule appointments, CT scans, X-rays, MRI's, PET/CT's etc., make referrals, communication with physicians answering and triaging of phone calls, pre-authorization of referrals and radiology testing, etc., scan documents to EMR, manage incoming faxes, enter and/or update demographics, insurance, into the computer when scheduling.
Handle multiple records duties including records requests
· Organizes and evaluates patient medical records.
· Responsible for filing and retrieving medical records
· Reviews medical records for accuracy and completeness.
· Ability to schedule specialty testing such as ONCOTYPE DX -BREAST CANCER
· FOUNDATION ON, NGS PANEL ON ANY CANCER TAMPUS as ordered by each physicians for their patients.
· Prep and review patients chart for physicians
· Schedule new patients’ referrals
· Scanning records and into patient charts.
