Seeking a MLT to join our team that is committed to Laboratory Quality and Customer Service. Requires associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology and must hold current National Certification and State License for Louisiana. 2 years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician preferred. Performs various medical Laboratory procedures in Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Serology and Chemistry for the use of diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of disease. Assists in the operation, maintenance, and quality assurance monitoring of the above mentioned testing in compliance with CLIA regulations. Will perform all phases of testing from collection, analysis to verifying and documenting results. Physical requirements of the position could include repetitious movement, bending, lifting a minimum of 50 lbs, stooping, walking and standing for long periods of time.
