Medical Records Research Coordinator jobs in Gainesville, FL
Medical Records Research Coordinator is responsible for organizing and overseeing the record keeping activities pertaining to releasing and retrieving medical records for research projects. Ensures all medical records are tracked and released according to HIPAA guidelines. Being a Medical Records Research Coordinator may require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Medical Records Research Coordinator possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Requirements of the Medical Records Coordinator
High School Diploma or Equivalent
College Degree Preferred
Experience of the Medical Records Coordinator
At least (1) year experience as a Medical Records Coordinator in a healthcare setting
Knowledge of basic medical terminology
Experience working with PCC plus
