Medical Records Research Coordinator jobs in Riverside, CA
Medical Records Research Coordinator is responsible for organizing and overseeing the record keeping activities pertaining to releasing and retrieving medical records for research projects. Ensures all medical records are tracked and released according to HIPAA guidelines. Being a Medical Records Research Coordinator may require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Medical Records Research Coordinator possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Title: Medical Records Coordinator
Job Duties: The Medical Records Coordinator provides support to staff and to the medical records department by assisting with monitoring and maintaining timely and complete medical records of clients. Accuracy and thoroughness are important, as it may affect legal liability of the facility. Ensures professional contact with all levels of staff and other stakeholders, including nursing staff, supervisors, physicians, clients, and families.

Qualifications:
- 1. A high school graduate/GED.
- 2. A minimum of two years experience in medical records or ward clerk position.
