Medical Records Technician jobs in Medford, OR

Oak Street Health Care Center is looking for an individual to assist with medical records and reception. This person will help work with Medical Records, and work as the receptionist. We need someone who is kind, courteous, detail focused, and is passionate about helping people. This position requires someone who is flexible in their work environment as they will be working in different positions throughout the week. Candidate must feel comfortable with interactions with patients in person and on the phone. Some of the duties are:

• Send imaging orders to other facilities
• Receive documents from other health care entities and properly import them into our electronic medical records
• Greet patients upon entering our facility
• Collect Copay, deductibles, and outstanding balances
• Verify insurance coverage
• Communicate with your team for coordination of patient care
• Help facilitate a positive experience

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
