Citrus Cardiology Consultants, P.A. has an immediate opening for a motivated Medical Records Technician. Good attitude, organizational skills and attention to detail are a must. The Medical Records Tech handles dual functions at Citrus Cardiology Consultant. This person works closely with the front office personnel, nurses and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Electronically file documents into the patients’ electronic chart accurately.
• Answer and handle incoming calls
• Respond promptly to urgent chart request
• Maintain a high level of patient confidentiality
• Perform general clerical: scanning, data entry, photocopying and faxing
• Flexible in meeting the needs of the department

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of computers and standard office equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
