Medical Records Technician abstracts clinical information from medical records and assigns the appropriate ICD or CPT codes using industry-standard coding guidelines. Assigns required DRG (diagnosis-related grouping) codes. Being a Medical Records Technician works with coding databases and software to input and maintain data according to standard procedures. Performs quality audits of work. Additionally, Medical Records Technician maintains and up-to-date knowledge of coding and documentation requirements. Does not require a medical coding certification. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Medical Records Technician works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Newest technology & equipment
Diagnose and repair truck and trailer components such as doors, floors, side panels, electrical and air brake systems
Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on tractor and trailer equipment, including routine technical repairs and completing repair orders
Perform maintenance repairs as required to maximize safety and reliability on all fleet vehicles including tractors, trailers, lift-gates, and any company-owned equipment
Abide by all Company policies and safety rules and assist in maintaining a clean, safe work environment
Maintain repairs for Class 8 trucks, trailers and yard tractors
Safely operates gauges, forklifts, shunt trucks, torches, grinders, and various hand and power safety tools
At least one (1) year of experience working on Class A trucks
Experience working with air brakes, hydraulic & electrical systems.
Prior welding and fabrication experience required
