Responsibilities:

• Transcribe medical reports, dictated by healthcare professionals, into accurate and readable text format.
• Ensure confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA regulations in handling sensitive medical information.
• Edit and proofread transcribed documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain organized records of transcribed documents and medical terminology.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in medical terminology, abbreviations, and procedures.
• Experience in medical transcription or related field preferred.
• Excellent listening and typing skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with transcription software and tools.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance.

Additional Skills:

• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication skills to clarify dictations or instructions.
