May require Registered Healthcare Documentation Specialist (RHDS). Additionally, Medical Records Transcriptionist typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Medical Records Transcriptionist works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Community Clinic is seeking an experienced Medical Records Specialist. This position is responsible for the overall organization and security of electronic patient medical records. Confidentiality and legal compliance are critical aspects of this position. Strong written and verbal skills are a must. A minimum of 1 year previous experience is required.
