Hours are Monday-Thursday 8-5, Friday 8-2 - no weekends, no holidays

Description

• Answering incoming phone calls from the main office phone line
• Answering incoming calls from the medical records phone line
• Routing incoming faxes
• Tracking of referrals

• Medical Records Specialist position will perform record document retrieval and linking to the electronic medical record
• Generates physician progress notes and sends to indicated referring and PCP physicians after each patient visit, for all providers in the clinic.
• Release medical record information to persons and/or agencies according to regulations and office policy, requiring signed consents and appropriate documentation
• Other document management related tasks

Requirements

• EHR experience required
• Clinic experience is preferred
• Release information to patients, healthcare facilities and other entities following all laws and regulations including HIPAA.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour
