The Medical Transcriptionist transcribes medical dictation into medical record chart in proper format; records necessary identification information on all appropriate forms; routes transcribed charts to physician for physician sign off; prepares medical record routing forms for dictation; maintains documentation of daily work production and turns in weekly time sheet. Meets job standard requirements on a daily basis; responsible for keeping transcription current; performs other duties as assigned.
