Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Enter data and information into the identified database using specified information from Excel Spreadsheets and other sources
• Ensure data security and maintain confidentiality; adhere to organizational HIPAA and safety measures
• Routinely check for discrepancies within the database and systems, following company processes to resolve all conflicts
• Recommend changes to the system if inefficiencies present themselves
• Verify information for accuracy, making corrections and updating data when needed
• Delete data when it is no longer relevant and eliminate duplicate data from the system
• Ensure information is stored in appropriate backup files
• Collaboratively work as part of a team in order to achieve a common goal
• Transcribe Excel information into identified database, Clinical Conductor Management System
• Utilize and understand Clinical Conductor Management System; working alongside project managers to fulfill information as needed while hitting timely deadlines
• Perform other duties as needed for department efficiency
Required Skills and Experience:
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong computer skills - MS Word and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact with varied professionals
• Data entry within hospital system or healthcare facility
• Minimum of six (6) month data entry experience
• Ability to work independently with demonstrated high attention to detail
• Self-motivated with good time management and organizational skills
Preferred Skills and Experience:
• 1 year data entry experience within hospital system or healthcare facility
• Experience with medical/insurance billing preferred
• Experience working in a clinical research environment a plus
• Knowledge of electronic management systems for research, especially Clinical Conductor Management System
Education:
• Required: High School Diploma
• Preferred: Associates Degree, Bachelor's Degree
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour
