Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Medical Scribe. As a Medical Scribe, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to accurately document patient encounters and assist with administrative tasks. Duties:
- Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems to document patient encounters in real-time
- Accurately type and transcribe medical information, including patient history, physical examinations, and treatment plans
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive patient information
- Assist healthcare providers with locating and retrieving medical records as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and complete documentation
- Organize and maintain medical records in a systematic manner
- Provide administrative support, such as scheduling appointments and managing phone calls

Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Proficient typing skills with a high level of accuracy
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred
