Position Summary:
The Transcriptionist is responsible for transcribing all dictation from the pathologists and any reports, memos or letters submitted by them or by the laboratory supervisors. This is a clerical position working under direct supervision. Work situations are routine and require confined sitting with continuous use of earphones, keyboard, foot control and video display terminal. This position requires accuracy and attention to detail.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of two (2) years experience preferred.
Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Completion of accredited medical transcription course preferred.
Compensation Range:
M14 - Min: $22.53-Max: $32.41
