    About the Position:
    In this position, you will work with nursing, physicians, and clinical staff to assist with clear and concise documentation that is compliant with APN Policies and Procedures. You will assist with maintaining EHR to standards determined by APN while providing enhanced communication interdepartmentally. You may be required to offer assessment and education regarding documentation, treating planning, discharge planning, weekly updates, and routine referral communication. Understanding MD and practitioner med orders, general knowledge of medications, integration of clinical knowledge in behavioral health, ASAM criteria, and proficiency of DSM-5 are a must, along with a high attention to detail and organization.

    Position Duties and Responsibilities – Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Perform and record vital signs, detect changes in symptoms, alert nurse when abnormal
    • Perform CIWA/COWS scores as appropriate
    • Observe, record, and document medical and clinical care delivered in an efficient and effective manner.
    • Understand physician orders, clarify as necessary, communicate with staff, insurance, and document in EHR.
    • Other duties as assigned that are within scope of practice
    Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred along with appropriate certification. Must be able to document legally in Colorado.

    RN, LPN, CNA, MA, EMT, clinicians, Pharmacy Tech, or QMAP are all acceptable qualifications for this position. Previous experience as a technician, therapist, case manager, or other healthcare role in which candidate would be knowledgeable about medication administration and orders will be considered.

    Experience: Minimum 3 year experience working with medications and clinical in behavioral health in a professional capacity. Prefer experience in SUD/ Behavioral Health..

    Special Skills & Knowledge: Candidates should have the following skills and attributes: Understand MD orders, efficient and organized documentation, ability to communicate with clients therapeutically, understanding of medications.
    Materials & Equipment: Copy machine, Pad documentation, EHR, multi-line telephone, computer/laptop, walkie talkie, fax machine, Microsoft Office preferred.

    • Routine mobility to include standing, stooping, bending, lifting, walking and running.
    • Ability to read labels, follow directions, count meds quickly, open medication bottles and/or packaging without difficulty
    • Organized and efficient documentation
    • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
