General Purpose:

Under the supervision of the Practice Supervisor or designee, perform specific duties to support a busy medical practice.

Essential Duties of the Position:

• Provides superior patient care
• Greet Patients and provide check in and check out service
• Escorts patients and visitors
• Maintains comfortable, orderly, safe, and clean environment
• Prepares patients for examinations
• Measures and records vital signs
• Retrieves laboratory test results and patient files
• Orders and maintains inventory of supplies
• Performs clerical functions related to medical activities as assigned
• Supports providers and other personnel as assigned
• Ensures confidentiality and the integrity of patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Other miscellaneous duties that support the overall Practice mission and cultivate a team effort are required.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

• High school diploma or GED
• Certificated medical assistant
• Strong attention to details.
• Superior customer service skills
• Must be able to multi-task
• EPIC experience preferred
• Current CPR certification required
• Communicates professionally, effectively, and accurately
• Excellent attendance and time management skills
