Medical Assistant/scribe needed for a small, but busy, private integrated Primary Care clinic in Eugene, OR.

This opportunity is great for students and/or newly certified medical assistants who wish to further their healthcare knowledge and skills.

Ideal candidates would have great typing and organizational skills, an eye for details, a strong interest in the medical field, ability to multi-task, and exceptional communication skills.

Duties include, but are not limited to, assessing vitals, medication reconciliation, assisting during minor procedures, performing in house lab tests such as urinalysis and A1C, administering immunizations, preparing specimens for transport and off site testing, and scribing using AthenaHealth EHR.

Our staff generally works four 10-hour shifts a week (Mon to Fri) and two Saturday 5-hour shifts.

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Medical Terminology: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• LPN (Preferred)
• CPR Certification (Required)
