Additionally, Medical Scribe may require certification as a Medical Scribe by the American College of Clinical Information Managers (ACCIM). Typically reports to a physician. The Medical Scribe works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.     Responsibilities

    • Ensure accurate patient data entry in a timely manner
    • Have a positive interaction with patients
    • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of medical terminology
    • Assist the physician with letters and patient questionnaires

    Qualifications

    Currently or recently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program. 

    Plans to attend Post-Graduate education (including medicine, Physician assistant, , nursing or advanced medical)

     

    Medical student that is taking a gap year or college senior is preferred not required
