Additionally, Medical Scribe may require certification as a Medical Scribe by the American College of Clinical Information Managers (ACCIM). Typically reports to a physician. The Medical Scribe works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Trumbull Mahoning Medical Group has a part time position for a Medical Scribe in our busy primary care offices in Austintown and Cortland.
Responsibilities and Duties
The Medical Scribe’s primary duty is to accurately and thoroughly document patient visits as they are being performed by the physician. The Scribe will also assist in completing patient's billing information in our EMR system .
Our physician treats patients in both our Cortland and Austintown offices, as well as a few local nursing homes. This position will require travel between these locations. Travel pay is available when traveling to two offices in one day.
