Trumbull Mahoning Medical Group has a part time position for a Medical Scribe in our busy primary care offices in Austintown and Cortland.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Medical Scribe’s primary duty is to accurately and thoroughly document patient visits as they are being performed by the physician. The Scribe will also assist in completing patient's billing information in our EMR system .

Our physician treats patients in both our Cortland and Austintown offices, as well as a few local nursing homes. This position will require travel between these locations. Travel pay is available when traveling to two offices in one day.

Qualifications and Skills

A successful candidate will have:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records and the ability to quickly learn new software. Medent EMR experience a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-fasted environment.
• Proficiency in ICD-10 and CPT coding.
