Responsibilities
Position Summary:
A Secretary Support Assistant performs clerical duties coordinates departmental communication and assists with departmental and selected patient care related activities. This position interacts with personnel of all ages.
Qualifications
Minimum:- Course in medical terminology
- Clear understanding of office procedures
- Good writing and verbal communication skills
Preferred:- High school graduate or equivalent
- Prior experience as a Unit Secretary in an acute care setting
- Completion of a Unit Secretary training program preferred
- Ability to type 35 wpm and have technical skills with word processing
- American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification
Pay Range
$28.23 - $32.05 /hour -
