A Production Associate is responsible for the picking, packing, and portioning of meal kits for the client.

No experience is needed for the Production Associate role. Training in areas of food safety, quality assurance, and picking/packing and portioning procedures will be provided.

This position is for a 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities:

• Portioning, packing, and picking of meal and ingredients
• Using proper measuring utensils to portion ingredients
• Labeling packages and preparing items for shipping
• Receiving direction from Supervisor, Production Lead to fulfill production requirements
• Transitioning between tasks when needed
• Collecting production and quality data
• Working as a team to reach shipping goals
• Following all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) while onsite
• Up keeping the cleanliness of your area and assisting in end of day cleanup

Job Requirements:

• General high school degree or equivalent (e.g., GED) preferred
• Ability to meet attendance guidelines ( to include holidays, weekends, and overtime)
• Accuracy & attention to detail
• Flexibility and willingness to work on a team
• Self-motivation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

• work is performed in a refrigerated environment (38 degrees or below at all times)
• Team members must be able to stand for extended periods of time (Shift 8 hours)
• Team members must be able to lift up to 50lbs
